1. Independence and no affiliation

slide.education is an independent service, developed and run by its own owner. It does not belong to Microsoft Corporation or to any company of its group, and it is not sponsored, endorsed, certified or authorised by them, unless expressly stated otherwise in an applicable written agreement.

Users should not read the domain name, the functional description of the service or the availability of tools to work with files as a sign of an official commercial, institutional or technological relationship with Microsoft.

2. Descriptive purpose of references to file formats

The service is meant to let its users read, analyse, consult, organise and, where the available features allow it, work with electronic presentation files.

References to PowerPoint, to the .ppt and .pptx file formats and to other product names are made to identify the files or technologies with which functional compatibility is intended.

Such references do not attribute to the owner of this site any rights over third-party trademarks, nor suggest that the service is an official edition, extension, component or authorised complementary product of their owners.

3. Intellectual and industrial property rights

The names Microsoft and PowerPoint, and the trademarks, logos and other distinctive signs associated with those products, belong to their respective owners.

This site does not claim ownership of those trademarks or of any third-party intellectual or industrial property rights. Rights over third-party products, software, formats, trademarks and materials remain with their respective owners.

Nominative references on this site have only the scope that is lawful under the applicable legislation. No licence over third-party rights is granted or intended.

4. No official representation

This site does not present itself as an official Microsoft channel or as an official alternative to its products or services. Nor does it claim that Microsoft has examined, tested, approved or certified the service.

Any description of compatibility refers only to the features the service actually offers and has been able to verify. It must not be understood as a guarantee of universal compatibility or of equivalence with the behaviour of the original products.

5. Files provided by users

Files that users add to the service remain subject to the rights and conditions applicable to their respective owners.

Users declare that they hold the rights, permissions or authorisations needed to use the files they provide, and that processing them through the service does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law.

The availability of a feature to open or process a file does not mean the owner of the service claims any rights over its content, nor does it release users from respecting copyright, software licences or any applicable confidentiality obligations.

6. Interpretation of this notice

This notice aims to inform transparently about the independence of the service, the nature of references to third-party products and the absence of an official relationship with their owners.

It is not a statement of authorisation by Microsoft, a trademark licence or a guarantee that the domain name or any other element of the service is free from claims.

Nothing herein intends to exclude users' non-waivable rights or to limit liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Contact
